Vitamin K3 / Feed Additive
VK3, also called Menadione; due its weak stability, it is converted to menadione compounds, VK3 can be converted into effective K2 in animal body.
VK3 MNB is not only more stable and biologically active than MSB, but also can reduce the addition of nicotinamide in the feed. Its source is from chemical synthesis.
Vitamin K3 is essential for the life of animals, it is involved in the blood clotting system, so far the primary application of VK3 is used as feed additive for animal nutrition and veterinary. It is also used for the treatment of dysentery and cholecystitis, besides, VK3 has been mentioned as a treatment for cancer together with VC.
